[Satellite TODAY 02-19-2012] Satellite operator Avanti has announced the appointment of Harry Formosa as its new European sales director. With more than 30 years of experience, he comes from BT where he created a multi-million pound wholesale Internet service business, and acquired and developed large accounts such as Barclays and Visa. More recently, Formosa significantly grew BT’s European and Asian satellite markets, supplying broadcast distribution and contribution services.
