The contract is valued at nearly $2 million. ASC Signal will design, manufacture and install a combination of 9.4-meter antennas for use with Ku- and Ka-band frequencies, as well as 7.6-meter Ku-band antennas with specifically engineered feed designs to meet HorizonSat’s technical requirements.

ASC Signal said the new teleport would enable HorizonSat to access more satellites while serving their customers with enhanced broadcast, voice, data and IP services.

  “HorizonSat is continuing to expand rapidly in the EMEA region with the development of this new, European teleport,” HorizonSat Managing Director Hisham Ansari said in a statement. “Using ASC’s advanced antennas and the customization they will provide, we will be able to service our many existing customers and additional new customer requirements as we continue our growth in the region.”
