[Satellite TODAY 04-24-11]  Last week we reported Azerbaijan has delayed the launch of its first national Azerspace satellite to 2013 and expanded its satellite rollout plans.

      We can confirm that there are no major delays in implementation of the country’s first satellite project and the launch is expected to take place as initially envisioned in project agreements.

      Also, the original story commented Azerbaijan would launch three satellites between 2013 and 2015. We can now confirm Azercosmos is planning to launch one further low Earth observation satellite in 2013.
