[Satellite TODAY 02-29-12] Adam Schaffer has been appointed as the new Publisher of Via Satellite and SatelliteTODAY. In this role, Schaffer will oversee all of the Access Intelligence print and digital products for the global satellite communications community. Most recently, Schaffer was President of Media Revenue Partners, a media sales and consulting firm working in the publishing and events industries.
“I am very excited to rejoin the satellite community. Some years ago, working with Commissioner Patricia Diaz Dennis at the FCC, I was involved in the initial orbital slot allocations for direct broadcast satellite. Because of this, I have a deep appreciation for the people and technology that make our community thrive,” Schaffer said in a statement.
