[Satellite TODAY 11-30-11] MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates (MDA) has won contracts worth C$4.2 million ($4.04 million) from NASA’s Johnson Space Center to extend its support of the Robotic Work Station that controls Canadarm2 and Dextre on the International Space Station (ISS).
MDA will provide on-going sustaining engineering services, and provide new capabilities that will assist in the berthing of unmanned vehicles visiting the space station. The contract extension runs through December 2012.
