[Satellite TODAY 04-07-11] Row 44 has entered into a technology agreement to combine Hughes’ HX modem platform with Intelsat’ IS fleet of Ku-band satellites in an effort to expanding the in-flight broadband platform’s international coverage capabilities, Row 44 announced April 6
Row 44 expects to offer its expanded global service to Mexico, the Caribbean, North Atlantic and Russia by the end of 2013, based on the timing of Intelsat’s IS fleet target service dates. Row 44 currently offers service in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
