[Satellite TODAY 03-29-11] Integral Systems Service Solutions (IS3) has activated two additional satellite interference monitoring, detection and geolocation sites in the Republic of Cyprus and the Republic of South Korea in an effort to increase its Satcom NetOps service coverage, the company announced March 28.
The new facilities include: dual 7.3m antenna systems; Integral Systems’ Monics Radio Frequency (RF) interference monitoring, detection and analysis solution; and its SatID geolocation system. Including the sites in Cyprus and South Korea, IS3 now supports six full-time facilities.
“We are thrilled to reach this key milestone and to have our newest facilities up and running. The ability to seamlessly isolate offending carriers or provide advanced signal monitoring, detection and analysis globally is a clear differentiator for our service offering,” IS3 Vice President and General Manager Ernie Dickens said in a statement.
