[Satellite TODAY 03-25-11] C-Com Satellite Systems received $600,000 worth of orders for its iNetVu mobile antenna products from various customers in the Asia region, the Canadian manufacturer announced March 23.
The iNetVu mobile satellite antenna orders were received from Japan, China and Malaysia. C-Com said the units for Japan have already been shipped and deployed in Tsunami-affected regions, where they are providing emergency cellular back-up communications.
The government of China will be using the iNetVu systems for their national disaster management plan, while Malaysia Telecom will be deploying them as mobile offices across Malaysia, the company said.
