[Satellite TODAY 03-14-11] Paradise Datacom has released a series of indoor, rack-mount solid state power amplifiers (SSPAs), the manufacturer announced March 11.
The high-power Paradise SSPAs use a soft-fail modular design that allows modules to be replaced quickly in the event of a failure. The SSPAs are vailable in S-, C-, X- and Ku-Bands and are fitted with a 7RU chassis for a variety of power options.
“Our engineering team has built a number of distinguishing features into this SSPA series that enables traffic to continue to flow following the failure of any module,” Paradise Datacom Spokesman Tony Radford said in a statement.
