Orbit Hires New Satellite Business Unit President

[Satellite TODAY 03-01-11] Satellite communications, tracking and telemetry company Orbit Communications, named Yosi Albagli Executive Vice President and President of its satellite communications business unit, the company announced Feb. 28.
    Albagli founded Tdsoft Communications, a provider of access telecom systems, in 1994. He previously served as CEO of CTWare, a start-up cloud-based contact center applications company.
    Albagi will be responsible for developing the company’s enterprise and commercial clientele, as well as managing Orbit’s satellite-based communications solutions for high-speed trains, recently deployed in France.
