GE Satellite CEO Joins CASBAA Board

[Satellite TODAY 02-24-11] The Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) named GE Satellite President and CEO Andrew Jordan to the CASBAA board, the broadcasting association announced Feb. 23.
    Jordan will serve as co-chairman of the CASBAA Satellite Industry Committee with Measat COO Paul Brown-Kenyon through the end of 2012. The committee promotes satellite communications services to the investment community, media and telecommunications networks, as well as to governments and regional regulators.
    Jordan has been a member of CASBAA since its inception in 1991 and has focused his work with the association on content distribution and telecommunications services.
