[Satellite TODAY 02-17-11] Paradise Datacom unveiled its next-generation IBC-series indoor satcom converters, designed to deliver ultra-fine frequency resolution, the manufacturer announced Feb. 16.
    The IBC Series converters supporting all satellite frequency bands from IF to L-band and provide a frequency interface for transitioning a 70MHz base-band modem output to an L-band frequency for a block converter. The IBC chassis is self-contained and configurable as a single-thread or redundant system and as a dual-up, dual-down or as up/down converter. The IBC also features two hot-swappable modules that can be removed without interrupting chassis power.
    "This new line of indoor converters are frequency agile and carefully engineered to be the flexible, compact and powerful converters our customers are looking for. They are another example of the innovative satcom technology that Paradise continues to develop," Paradise Datacom Spokesman Tony Radford said in a statement.
