[Satellite TODAY 10-21-10] Canadian satellite technology company Com Dev International won a contract to provide switches, multiplexers and filters to an unnamed commercial communications satellite operator, Com Dev announced Oct. 20.
The contract, worth more than $5.8 million, represents the third order Com Dev has received from the operator under a four-satellite agreement signed in September. Com Dev said the total potential value of the agreement could exceed $22.3 million if all options are exercised.
Com Dev is scheduled to complete work on the current contract by the end of its 2011 fiscal year.
