[Satellite TODAY 09-21-10] ScheduAll has been selected by the Golf Channel to provide its ScheduLink sports content management service, which includes tools for bookings and invoicing, to the broadcaster, ScheduAll announced Sept. 20.
Golf Channel will use ScheduLink to book domestic and international transmission feeds with vendors such as Intelsat and NEP and work orders for satellite or antenna transmissions. The ScheduLink solution aims to determine requirements and request confirmation from standard 18 megahertz and HD broadcasting vendors in a single platform.
ScheduAll clients include sports organizations such as the MLB, NBA and the NFL.
“Today, businesses are looking for ways to do things smarter, and that’s why we chose ScheduAll to manage our in-house productions. We’re able to leverage a robust toolset to get the most out of our resources, facilities, people and equipment, and the transmission component, ScheduLink, will allow us to manage our feeds and workflow more consistently, cutting down on project expenses and potential downtime,” Golf Channel Senior Director of Engineering Ken Botelho said in a statement.
