[Satellite TODAY 08-23-10] Broadcaster Canal Digital appointed Patrik Hofbauer CEO, parent company Telenor announced Aug. 20.
Hofbauer, currently CEO of broadcaster Clear Channel Sweden, will start his new role in January.
In a statement, Hofbauer said Canal’s investment and focus would remain on HDTV under his leadership and that he “will take part in characterizing television development in the Nordic region.”
