[Satellite TODAY 08-16-10] DTH operator MultiChoice South Africa appointed CEO Nolo Letele executive chairman effective Oct. 1, the company announced Aug. 12.
Letele will replace chairman Mandla Langa, who is retiring from the board and being retained as a company consultant. Before joining MultiChoice, Letele held senior positions at M-Net and MIH Group and was chief engineer at the Lesotho National Broadcasting Service.
Letele will be replaced as CEO by Imtiaz Patel.
