[Satellite TODAY 05-14-10] MTV has renewed its contract with Arqiva for the uplinking of two transponders to the Astra satellite system at 19 degrees East, Arqiva announced May 13.
MTV uses Arqiva’s uplinking to provide distribution of its programming into Europe. MTV has a number of distribution services with Arqiva, including the provision of dedicated fiber backhaul between MTV’s facilities and Arqiva’s London Teleport.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
