[Satellite TODAY 05-13-10] PolarSat has received more than $1 million in multiple MF-TDMA VSAT equipment orders for immediate deliver to help expand an existing air traffic control network in Asia, the company announced May 10.
The PolarSat equipment will carry VHF voice, radar, air tasking orders and a variety of other traffic in a full mesh configuration.
“Although we have been supplying our VSATPlus terminal to a number of air traffic control networks worldwide, this is a considerable win for us that significantly expands an already large network,” PolarSat spokesman Ron Mankarious said in a statement.
