[Satellite TODAY 04-27-10] UPC DTH will begin a comprehensive repositioning process of its customers’ satellite dishes, the company announced April 23.
    UPC is transitioning its services to Telenor’s Thor 5 and Thor 6 satellites. The company said the process is an effort to deliver more channels, better content and superior signal quality for its pay-TV services in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania through FocusSat.
    Following the trainsition, UPC contract installation teams will require customers to carry out the installations starting in May.
    “Our customers will get additional channels and access to state of the art services including superior HD quality pictures and DVRs which allow customers to control their TV like never before,” UPC DTH Managing Director Magnus Ternsjö said in a statement.
