Intellian Maritime Antenna Receives Eutelsat ESV Certification

[Satellite TODAY 04-27-10] Marine satellite antenna manufacturer Intellian has completed Eutelsat ESV characterization on its v60 maritime satellite VSAT antenna system, Intellian announced April 26.
     The v60 validation results certify the antenna’s on-the-water performance to meet Eutelsat standards. The antenna’s Tx gain exceeded the performances of other same-size antennas and its Rx gain was also higher than the average.
    Designed for ocean vessels in the recreational, commercial, oil and gas, and military markets, the v60 aims to offer continuous broadband connectivity in rough weather and sea conditions.
