[Satellite TODAY 04-08-10] Liberty Syndicates has signed a space underwriting partnership with Intelsat, Liberty announced April 7.
The partnership will see the fixed satellite service company provide technical support to Liberty’s satellite insurance account as well as access to Intelsat engineering services.
Liberty Space Underwriter Simon Clapham said the agreement also enables Liberty to offer greater risk solutions to its clients. Intelsat already operates a satellite-related services division providing consulting to operators during the entire lifecycle of their spacecraft.
