[Satellite TODAY 03-26-10] Satellite systems provider KVH Industries has incorporated its Singapore-based subsidiary KVH Industries Asia as a new business unit, the company announced March 24.
The unit, renamed KVH Singapore, will focus on supporting KVH’s mini-VSAT broadband satellite communications service and TracVision satellite TV systems and services in the region’s maritime market.
“The company is now more effectively placed to pursue opportunities, seek out new business in the region’s shipbuilding industry and support its local and regional distribution partners,” KVH said in a statement.
