[Satellite TODAY 03-25-10] Gilat Satellite Networks appointed Jaron Lotan COO effective April 6, the company announced March 24.
Lotan will oversee all day-to-day business operations, from sales to implementation, for all of the Gilat’s businesses outside of Spacenet, reporting to CEO Amiram Levinberg. Gilat said that Lotan was hired to the position to combine Gilat, Gilat Network Systems and Spacenet Rural operations, while enabling Spacenet to continue its operation as a separate wholly owned subsidiary.
Lotan previously served as the President and CEO of Tecnomatix Technologies.
