[Satellite TODAY 03-05-10] French Broadcaster Canal+ Group reported 2009 revenues of 4.55 billion euros ($6.2 billion), a 1.6 percent increase compared to 2008, in its latest financial results, released March 1.
Canal+ Group EBITDA grew by 14.8 percent to reach 652 million euros ($881 million) in 2009, compared to 568 million euros ($774 million) in 2008.
Canal+ digital TV subscribers reached 93 percent of the company’s total portfolio, compared to 80 percent at year-end 2008 due to the increased migration of Canal+ analog subscribers (about 490,000) to digital.
