[Satellite TODAY 03-01-10] Russian Satellite Communications Co. (RSCC) signed a cooperation deal with Romantis to develop joint business packages for the EMEA region based on RSCC satellite capacity and Romantis hardware products and solutions, RSCC announced Feb. 26.

    The companies jointly promote and sell RSCC satellite capacity for the Middle East and Europe, specifically the Express-AM44 satellite, which was deployed at 11 degrees West in early 2009.

   “Together with Express-AM44 capacity, we can offer one of the most competitive solutions in the Middle East as well as in Europe and North Africa in the region both for government and enterprise customers,” Harald Stange, managing director, Romantis, said in a statement.
