[Satellite TODAY 02-04-10] Antenna Technology Communications Inc. (ATCi) has unveiled and deployed a new family of satellite modulator products under the ZMOD-10 brand name, the company announced Feb. 3.
    The ZMOD-10 product line aims to support full-featured DVB-S2, DVB-S and 8PSK modulation schemes and was designed to reduce operational costs while maintaining the needed features of broadcasters.
     “In today’s turbulent economic times, broadcasters in virtually every industry, including TV stations, news corporations, educational institutes and religious entities, are constantly searching for ways to reduce costs while improving operations and performance. … Whether used for occasional or 24/7 broadcasts, the ZMOD users will appreciate its reliability and ease-of-use,” ATCi CEO Gary Hatch said in a statement.
