Parallel Upgrades SatManage Network Suite

[Satellite TODAY 12-14-09] Parallel has launched a new version of its SatManage network management software suite, the company announced Dec. 11.
    SatManage version 5 will be used by oil and gas and maritime VSAT providers to integrate and automate elements of a network operations center and enable reporting from several hundreds of thousands of data sets on a single, secure Web-based portal.  
    Existing users of SatManage version 4 will be offered the new version free of cost under the company’s software upgrade and support subscription scheme for all their existing components.
