[Satellite TODAY 11-19-09] Sea Launch named Christopher Picone Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) to lead reorganizing efforts throughout the company’s bankruptcy proceedings, Sea Launch announced Nov. 19.
Sea Launch and its affiliated entities filed voluntary petitions for chapter 11-bankruptcy protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Delaware in June.
The state court approved Picone’s appointment earlier this week following its order to authorize $12.5 million in debtor-in-possession financing from Space Launch Services to provide working capital to continue Sea Launch operations as the company moves through reorganization.
