[Satellite TODAY 10-02-09] Vizada Networks expanded its connectivity services portfolio to include its Internet Start next-generation broadband IP service in the Middle East and Africa, the company announced Oct. 1.
    The service uses Vizada Networks’ bandwidth management solution to maximize capacity on the IP network during data transmission. The service is delivered on iDirect’s Evolution DVB-S2/ACM technology deployed at Vizada Networks’ teleport in Nittedal, Norway.
     ”The solution we have developed is designed to significantly improve Internet access and usage for end-user customers in the Middle East and Africa. By maximizing network capacity, Internet Start gives our service providers an important competitive edge in the internet access market,” Stefano Vittor, CEO of Vizada Networks, said in a statement.
