[Satellite TODAY 09-11-09] Edgeware and Jet Stream have partnered to integrate of Edgeware’s Web TV WTV servers with Jet Stream’s VideoExchange content distribution network (CDN) management suite to create a complete CDN-in-a-box solution for content and network owners, the companies announced Sept. 10.
    Version 10.2 of VDO exchange, which supports the CDN-in-a-box capability, will be available Sept. 14.
    “Telecom operators are not just looking for an advanced and effective CDN management solution; they also need the most efficient solution.As carriers, telcos and MSOs look to monetize content with over-the-top delivery, this solution provides operators with the most cost effective, scalable and simple to deploy CDN solution available,” said Stef van der Ziel, CEO of Jet Stream, in a statement.
