[Satellite TODAY 08-18-09] Integral Systems has appointed H. Marshal Ward COO, the company announced Aug. 17.
    Ward, a retired major general in the U.S. Air Force, will assume the newly created position Aug. 31. In the private sector, Ward previously served as vice president and general manager of BAE Systems.
    The company is still looking for a replacement for CEO John Higginbotham, who resigned Aug. 7. Paul Casner is serving as interim CEO.
