[Satellite Today 07-16-09] C-Com Satellite Systems reported a 78 percent increase in company revenues over the previous year in its 2009 second quarter financial results, released July 15.
The Canadian satellite antenna developer’s intake of about $3.2 million in the second quarter has resulted in an operating income of $887,877, an increase of 415 percent from last year. C-Com’s net income, at $501,432, is a 135 percent increase over the $213,587 result it reported in 2008.
C-Com President and CEO Leslie Klein said his company remains debt free with a healthy amount of cash on hand. “Our revenue increase and associated profitability in this quarter are due mainly to sales of the iNetVu Mobile antenna systems into new vertical markets we have established in the Asia Pacific Rim countries. We are starting to see more and more demand for our iNetVu antennas from countries like China, India, Vietnam and Pakistan,” Klein said in a statement.
