[Satellite Today 06-23-09] European satellite broadband Internet operator 21Net named UDcast as 21Net’s link optimization supplier for its broadband to trains system, 21Net announced June 22.
UDcast will provide 21Net with its protocol acceleration data compression with WAN compress technology, as well as its quality of service mechanisms, in order to optimize the link utilization and user experience for Internet access on trains, UDcast said.
21Net said it chose UDcast because of its flexibility and capacity to adapt to the operator’s specific requirements in the train environment.
