[Satellite Today 05-20-09] BusinessCom has expanded its VSAT space segment capacity on Telesat’s Telstar-10; Ku-band capacity on Telstar-12 and C-band beam capacity on SES New Skies’ NSS-7 satellites, BusinessCom announced May 19.
BusinessCom said the increased coverage with Telesat targets high-growth, high-demand regions such as Iraq and Afghanistan, allowing BusinessCom to provide iDirect Infiniti and SCPC based VSAT services for new clients.
The enterprise satellite provider said its C-band growth aims to cover a majority of the Eastern Hemisphere, boosting PEP-iDirect as an option for enterprise networks or remote VPN extensions.
