[Satellite Today 05-06-09] Thuraya has made enhancements to its broadband solution, ThurayaIP, the company announced May 3.
Thuraya established a point Of presence and meet me point to augment performance for streaming customers.
The point of presence, located in Thuraya’s Sharjah-based gateway, comprises routers and firewalls to manage streaming IP traffic. The meet me point is located in Telehouse, London, for customers requiring end-to-end dedicated links and data transmission to countries in Europe.
Thuraya launched ThurayaIP in 2008.
