Comtech Plans to Raise $200 Million

[Satellite Today 05-05-09] Comtech Telecommunications Corp. hopes to raise $200 million through a private sale, the company announced May 4.
    Comtech intends to grant the initial purchasers of the notes an option to purchase up to an additional $30 million aggregate principal amount of the notes, which will be convertible into shares of Comtech’s common stock
    Comtech intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to fund its acquisition strategy and for general corporate purposes, the compay said.
