[Satellite Today 04-08-09] The global economic crisis will have little impact on the satellite broadband sector, according to an April 7 report by NSR.
The report, “Broadband Satellite Markets, 8th Edition,” asserts that companies selling broadband satellite services, as a whole, had a very successful 2008, with solid revenue growth and sustained increases in installed bases of broadband VSAT sites and satellite broadband subscribers.
As the industry moves into 2009, many players are reporting business activity as strong, if not stronger, NSR said.
