[Satellite Today 04-07-09] Carrier to Carrier (C2C), an independent Dutch telecom provider to European enterprise markets, has uplinked on the Telstar 11N satellite, C2C announced April 6.
C2C said it built infrastructure specifically for the Telstar 11N satellite — including access to a redundant fiber ring, redundant carrier Ethernet and connections to major Internet access providers in Amsterdam. C2C’s services will run on a 6.3-meter Vertex antenna from its teleport in the Netherlands.
Telstar 11N was launched in February and began commercial services April 1.
