[Satellite Today 03-31-09] SES Astra signed a deal with CME Group for the launch of the first Croatian TV channel on an Astra satellite, the company announced March. 30.
SES Astra will provide capacity to the CME group to broadcast Nova TV via its Astra 1E satellite at 23.5 degrees East.
“The transmission of our channel via the Astra satellite system gives us significant technical reach and allows us to reach every Croatian household. This will be a strong base to achieve our growth objectives and follow our long term strategy,” Nova TV Director General Drazen Mavric said in a statement.
