[Satellite Today 03-16-09] Newtec appointed Martin De Prycker to its strategic committee, which advises and assists the board with company policy and strategy, Newtec announced March 13.
    De Prycker is  the former CEO of Barco, a designer and developer of professional display and visualization solutions.
    “We are extremely happy that Martin has agreed to join the Newtec strategic committee,” Serge Van Herck, Newtec’s CEO, said in a statement. “He has significant board experience with several major companies and is member of a number of respected industry bodies such as the IBBT (Interdisciplinary Institute for Broadband Technology) and Agoria (Belgian Multisector Federation for the technology industry) as well as a strong history of business development and growth at Barco.”
