[Satellite Today 02-13-09] Irdeto has signed an agreement with ZTE Corp., a telecoms equipment provider, to secure rich media content delivery using its OMA DRM client solutions. 
    ZTE will deploy OMA DRM as part of its global business expansion of its brand and client products. OMA DRM’s integration and support of content delivery enables ZTE to implement Irdeto’s solution to more than 500 of ZTE’s telecom operator partners.
    "Data services are forming a greater proportion of the overall income in the rapidly expanding mobile communications market," said Mr. Lin Qiang, general manager of ZTE’s Smartphone products. "We are delighted to partner with Irdeto to drive the adoption of mobile broadcasting and uptake of mobile multimedia services through the deployment of strong content security technology to ensure the success of our business."
