Canal Digital lost 12,000 DTH subscribers in the quarter to the end of December. This was one of the highlights of Telenor’s latest set of results issued Feb. 11. Canal Digital is one of the main pay-TV providers in the Nordic region. Its main DTH rival is Viasat, which is owned by the Modern Times Group (MTG).
At the end of 2008, Canal Digital had 1,113 million DTH customers slightly down from the same stage at the end of 2007.
