[Satellite Today 02-03-09] SkyDelta unveiled a new satellite Internet platform based on DVB-S2 technology from Efficient Channel Coding, SkyDelta announced Feb. 2.
    Dubai-based Sky Delta intends to provide a range of enterprise and consumer satellite-based broadband solutions with the platform and will look to a customer base seeking upgrades from dial-up services.
    SkyDelta offers upload speeds of 128 kilobits per second (kbps) and download speeds of up to 200 kbps.
