[Satellite Today 12-18-08] Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) has appointed Gwynne Shotwell president, the company announced Dec. 18.
Shotwell will be part of the company’s office of the chairman and CEO and report to SpaceX CEO and CTO Elon Musk.
Shotwell joined SpaceX in 2002 as vice president of business development and serves on the executive committee of the California Space Authority Board of Directors. She previously served at Aerospace Corp. for 10 years.
