[Satellite Today 12-18-08] Sky Perfect JSAT won Japanese broadcasting rights for the 2010 soccer World Cup, the company announced Dec. 18.
The operator will provide high-definition live coverage of all 64 matches played at the tournament, which will take place in South Africa.
Sky Perfect JSAT has reported around 4 million DTH subscribers in Japan.
