[Satellite Today 12-15-08] Inmarsat appointed Perry Melton COO effective Jan. 1, the company announced Dec. 15.
Melton replaces Michael Butler, who will remain president and executive director of the company until April 30, when he will leave the business, as Inmarsat announced in March.
Melton previously served as Inmarsat’s vice president of sales and marketing.
