MTV Brasil Launches on SES New Skies

[Satellite Today 12-02-08] Grupo Abril launched MTV Brasil, its main TV channel for cable distribution in Brazil, on the NSS-806 satellite, SES New Skies said Dec. 2.
    MTV Brasil is the third channel of Grupo Abril, one of the largest diversified media groups in Latin America, to launch on SES New Skies’ NSS-806 satellite.
    The Sao-Paulo based conglomerate now contracts a total capacity of 17.5 megahertz on the NSS-806 satellite.
