[Satellite Today 10-30-08] Arianespace received its heavy-lift Ariane 5 ECA rocket this week from European manufacturers, the company announced Oct. 30.
The launcher will be used in the first Ariane 5 mission targeted in 2009.
In 2008, Ariane 5 has performed five flights, with one additional mission scheduled before year-end.
