GlobeCast Opens Playout Facility

[Satellite Today 10-28-08] GlobeCast has opened its playout facility at its regional headquarters in Singapore, the company said Oct. 27.
    The facility is connected to the company’s worldwide satellite and fiber distribution network. The Singapore facility is the latest addition to GlobeCast’s London and Sunrise, Fla., media management hubs.
    The launch of playout services in Singapore is the latest in a string of developments in Asia for GlobeCast this year, which announced the opening of its Hong Kong office in June.
