[Satellite News 10-22-08] Spacenet Inc. has increased the speed of its commercial grade Connexstar performance series service to include a 5 megabit per second option, the company announced Oct. 22.
The service speed increase aims to meet growing demand for business continuity communications and for hot stand-by and rapid fail-over requirements for healthcare organizations, financial institutions, big box retail stores and government agencies.
The Connexstar performance series also offers a minimum assured speed guarantee and no automatic performance penalties for exceeding fair access policy guidelines, Spacenet said.
